Geneva Watchmaking School Found A New Home

Tribute to Pierre Amstutz

If you've been following us for a while, you most probably know that we are very good friends with the Geneva Watchmaking School.

This year, the School celebrated its 200th birthday and at the end of November moved to a new location in Plain-les-Ouates where it will be in the heart of quality watchmaking.

This was a project our good friend Pierre Amstutz, the Director of the School, has been working on for many many years, putting immense efforts into making it happen.

A project which he tackled like an entrepreneur, finding original and clever solutions and all this was driven by the idea that it would benefit its students, provide them with the best educational conditions, help them blossom and ultimately rejoin the watchmaking family.

And just four days after students finally settled into these new premises, fatality hit hard as Pierre tragically passed away.

So, we decided to go over some of the features of the new School placement and then as a tribute to Pierre’s commitment to watchmaking education, well we will share some nice souvenirs that we gathered during these many years and there are some really cool ones.

Viva Watchmaking, Viva Pierre! ✌🏻
