watches & Wonders 2025

A robot? A watch? A transformer? A nostalgic time-travelling machine! 🤖

Paying tribute to the wild creativity of the 1980s, HAUTLENCE unveils a jaw-dropping horological tribute: the RETROVISION ’85. This isn’t just a timepiece — it’s a mechanical memory, designed to evoke the wonder of a generation raised on Transformers and dreams of the future and space explorations. Unveiled at Watches & Wonders, the RETROVISION ’85 draws inspiration from a legendary Japanese robot toy.

🤖 Crafted from 3D-printed titanium with copper-toned PVD details, it transforms between a 64mm wristwatch and a standing robot desk clock. And yes, hands and legs move! Powered by the calibre D31, derived from the Vagabonde Tourbillon, it features a wandering hours display with rotating satellite discs and a central minute disc - a combination that resembles the heart of the Iron Man. Add to that a double hairspring tourbillon, 72-hour power reserve, and only 8 pieces made worldwide, and you’ve got a collector’s dream fuelled with a big dose of childhood magic.
