In today's video we had the pleasure and privileged to get our hands on the Balancier S, the latest timepiece by Greubel Forsey.

This new timepiece follows the footsteps of the GMT Sport introduced last year with a very original shaped titanium case, but now coming with the 30 degree inclined balance wheel seen first on their Signature model.

In this third and final episode, you will discover what it takes to make a hairspring and balance wheel by hand, mixing traditional know-how with the knowledge of today, before the final assembly of this amazing timepiece. And very importantly the emotion shared by the team after the watch's first tick-tocking!

And here we go for the second part of our documentary approach following the making of Greubel Forsey's Hand Made 1 timepiece. In this video you will see more in details how some of the key components of this watch have been developed and manufactured by hand, such as screws, hands, case and the tools used to achieve this.

We are extremely happy to share with you a behind the scene journey into the making of Grebeul Forsey's Hand Made 1 timepiece. This project not only pays tribute to the very origin of mechanical watchmaking when the hand was the most precious tool used, but also achieving a spectacular end result in terms of performance and level of precision corresponding to today's standards.

Meet Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey, founders of the brand, and all the team behind this amazing project, discover their motivation, the challenges encountered and the solutions found.

In today’s PRIMETIME we will go over some other newsworthy stories of the industry. Naturally this includes a follow up on the Baselworld situation because as predicted it didn’t take long for the LVMH brands, Hublot, TAG Heuer, Bulgari and Zenith to announce their departure from the show.

We will also discuss new product launches as activity is slowly starting again here in Switzerland, but very gently as we don’t want to simply cover these new watches without seeing them in the flesh, proving again the necessity of these physical shows.

When we first heard that Greubel Forsey was about to introduce a sports timepiece, we sincerely thought how on earth will they pull this off!! But at the same time, we knew from experience that they wouldn't take any short cuts and they definitely didn't with the introduction of the GMT Sport.

In this edition of PRIMETIME, we really want to thank our great friends that came to Geneva for our 100k celebration party; it was totally marvellous to share this special moment with all of you there, as well as with some legendary friends from our industry, including very close friend Philippe Dufour.
