watches & wonders 2025

What a week it’s been in Geneva! With over 55,000 visitors (12% more than last year) and 23,000 public tickets sold (+21%), ‪Watches & Wonders‬ 2025 proved once again that it’s the global stage for horology. And this year, nearly 10,000 young minds were introduced to the magic of mechanical watchmaking—future collectors and creators in the making.

On the final day of the Salon, we had the pleasure of sitting down with the brilliant Gianfranco Ritschel to reflect on the standout innovations and key trends of the industry. But there’s more to the story this year... 💸 With the proposed U.S. tax increases on Swiss imports, we explore what this could mean for the watch industry, collectors, brands, and the future of the craft itself. The implementation of the bill has been suspended for 90 days so far, but it's better to be prepared.

📢 And this time we’d love to hear from you: Would you still buy high-end watches with increased taxes? Or does this change the game?
