After seven years of development, Vacheron Constantin has introduced a new ultra-thin movement focused on reducing thickness without compromising performance. The calibre reflects careful engineering choices to maintain reliability, precision, and structural integrity in a highly compact form. This release highlights the technical challenges of miniaturization in watchmaking, offering a balanced approach between slim design and functional durability while staying consistent with the brand’s longstanding expertise in mechanical movements. This movement's first appearance is encased in a totally new Overseas timepiece of smaller size.
Introducing the Godfather - Chapter II by Jacob & Co
We knew that the Godfather timepiece was one of Jacob Arabo’s favorite for many personal reasons, but this one came in a rather large round case. After three years of development, the brand just introduced the second chapter and this time coming in a rectangular shaped case, but most notably is the fact that you now have two melodies to play with. Featuring a flying tourbillon and offering 72 hours of power reserve, the Godfather II is limited to 74 pieces coming in 42 by 44mm rose gold case.
